[Templates](https://help.collaboard.app/working-with-collaboard?hsLang=en#templates) # Create and manage organization templates ## Provide templates for your entire team or organization  With organization templates, you can create templates that are available to all members of your organization. This feature is especially useful for providing standardized workshops, meeting formats, or work processes for your entire team.  ### Categories for organization templates Before you can create organization templates, categories must first be created. The rank defines the sorting order in which the template categories are displayed. ![](https://help.collaboard.app/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jun-02-2026-04-23-11-5702-PM.png?width=450&height=285&name=image-png-Jun-02-2026-04-23-11-5702-PM.png) ### Create organization templates **Note:** Organization templates can be created by owners and managers of an Advanced or Enterprise subscription. To create an organization template **from objects on a board:** 1. Select the objects on your whiteboard that you want to save as a template. 2. Open the three-dot menu of the selection. 3. Click **Save as template**. 4. Enter a name for the template. 5. Under template availability, select **Organization – available to members of your organization**. 6. Select a suitable category. 7. Click **Save**. Click on the three-dots menu on the upper right toolbar and click on **Save project as template**. To edit an organization template: 1. Open the template library in the left toolbar. 2. Go to the **Organization templates** section. 3. Click the three-dot menu on the template you want to edit. 4. To make changes to the structure or the objects included in the template, first add the template to a board, adjust the content, and then save it as a new template.
