      Collaboard for Microsoft Teams

      Learn how to install and work with the Collaboard app for Microsoft Teams. Find troubleshooting support at the end.

      Install Collaboard for Microsoft Teams

      To install the Collaboard app in Microsoft Teams go to Apps and search for Collaboard.


      Make sure to install version 1.1.0


      Click the search result and select where to add the app:

      1. Add (as static tab): adds Collaboard to the left side panel and allows to access Collaboard as a static tab inside Teams.
      2. Add to team
      3. Add to chat
      4. Add to meeting

      The static tab is also used when Collaboard is installed for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365.

      Teams' chrome will work like a browser where Collaboard is embedded as iframe.

      You may work with Collaboard as you are used to from the browser-powered web app without restrictions.

      No problem!

      Select your environment from the picker in the upper right corner:

      Add to team/ channel/ chat/ meeting

      The flow to add Collaboard to a team or chat or meeting is very much alike and below exemplified for a team/ channel.

      Navigate to a Team and open a channel. Select "Add tab", (search and) choose Collaboard.

      A modal will open prompting you to login. Teams will remember if you have logged in before.

      Select a project from your project list and Save.

      Eventually, you will share the project with the channel members. Thus, set the permissions and Confirm and Save.

      Finally, share the project with the channel by clicking Save.

      Collaboard will appear as a new tab and open in the channel's chrome.

      Every member of the channel can access the shared project according to the set permissions and collaborate.

      Troubleshooting

      I cannot login on web.collaboard.app Select your environment from the picker in the upper right corner:
      I have switched from the old Collaboard for Teams v1.0 to the new version 1.1.0 and everything or parts of the new app do not work properly. Teams has its own cache. Before contacting our support, please clear the cache first.
      The Collaboard app is not showing after installation. Teams has its own cache. Before contacting our support, please clear the cache first.
      The static tab is showing a blank page. Teams has its own cache. Before contacting our support, please clear the cache first.
