Security Settings

These settings are especially important for sensitive workshops, internal meetings, or collaborative projects with restricted access.

  1. Click the three dots menu in the top right corner
  2. Select Settings
  3. Open the General tab
  4. Select Security

Access control

These settings define who can access your board and what they can do.

  • Protect project data
Prevents participants from copying, downloading, or exporting board content.
  • Internal project
When enabled, only members of your organization can join the board. Existing users remain unaffected. Guests are not allowed.

You see in the Dashboard which projects are internal, with the shield icon:

Project protection

These settings help you control changes and manage the board lifecycle.

Use Lock now to immediately lock the board.
You can also schedule this action by clicking the clock icon and defining when the board should be locked.
  • Archive project
Moves the board to your archived projects and prevents further changes.
Use Archive now to archive the board.
You can also schedule this action by clicking the clock icon and defining when the board should be archived.

Scheduled actions

When you schedule a lock or archive action, the planned time is displayed directly in the corresponding section.

  • You see the date and time when the board will be automatically locked or archived
  • A message indicates that the action is scheduled
  • You can cancel the scheduled action using Cancel scheduled lock or the corresponding option

This helps you keep track of upcoming changes and manage your board proactively.
