Search for content on a board

In Collaboard, you can use the search function to quickly find text within objects and documents on your board. The search is limited to the currently open board and does not include content from other boards. This feature is especially useful when working with large boards containing many different types of content.

How to search for content

  1. Open a board in Collaboard.
  2. Click the Search icon in the top-right corner of the board toolbar.
  3. Enter a keyword or phrase in the search field.
  4. Browse the matching results displayed in the search panel.

 

How to navigate search results

After entering a search term, Collaboard displays the matching results in a list.

Each result shows:

  • Matching text: The text found within the object or document.
  • Object type: An icon indicating the type of object containing the text.

The total number of search results is displayed at the top of the results list.

Click on a search result to automatically navigate to the corresponding location on the board.

 

How to filter search results

You can narrow down your search by filtering results based on object type.

The available filters include:

  • Audio
  • Task
  • Image
  • Excel spreadsheet
  • Shape
  • Card
  • Line
  • Mind map
  • PDF document
  • PowerPoint document
  • Frame
  • Table cell
  • Text
  • Video
  • Word document

Filters help you find relevant content more quickly, especially when your board contains many different objects.
