How to set up Collaboard MCP Server

The Collaboard MCP Server allows AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI assistants to connect securely with Collaboard.

With the MCP Server, AI assistants can interact with your Collaboard projects using natural language. This makes it possible to create whiteboards, analyze board content, search for existing projects, and turn information into visual workspaces.

What is the Collaboard MCP Server?

The Collaboard MCP Server is a secure gateway that enables AI tools and assistants to connect with your Collaboard projects.

It allows AI assistants to work with Collaboard using natural language, so they can help you:

  • Generate whiteboards from prompts
  • Analyze, understand, and summarize content on your whiteboards
  • Search for whiteboards using natural language
  • Turn ideas, meeting notes, or structured input into visual workspaces

With the Collaboard MCP Server, AI can become part of your visual collaboration workflow while keeping access to your Collaboard environment secure and controlled.

Availability: The Collaboard MCP Server is currently available for users with an Advanced or Enterprise subscription.

At the moment, the Collaboard MCP Server is available as a beta feature.

We are continuously improving how Collaboard works with AI agents through the Collaboard MCP Server. This capability is planned to become a usage-based paid feature in the future, but it is currently available free of charge during the beta period
